The Oracle
The Oracle is a transformative art installation that merges light, sound, and the mind to create an immersive meditative experience. Conceived by Dan Ghenacia and crafted by the Alpha Wave Experience collective, this piece invites participants to journey inward through the interplay of flickering lights and soundscapes.
Suspended in its environment, The Oracle is a rotating light sculpture designed to stimulate the optic nerve. The flickering light patterns induce alpha brainwave frequencies, often associated with states of deep relaxation and heightened creativity. Participants lie beneath the installation, eyes closed, as the visual flashes conjure vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and intricate patterns within their minds. The effect is likened to the introspective, visionary experiences of an ayahuasca ceremony, with The Oracle itself serving as the shaman guiding the journey.
Bio
Dan Ghenacia has spent the past two decades touring the world, spreading good vibes and bringing his unique touch to every set. As one-third of Apollonia, he embodies the true spirit of electronic music and club culture. After discovering house and techno in the early ’90s, Dan immersed himself in the Paris rave scene. A year in San Diego deepened his love for West Coast house, inspiring him to open Traffic Records in Paris, where he showcased his influences. By 2002, he was playing internationally, becoming a DC10 Ibiza resident in 2004 and forging a deep connection with the island.
Now based in Lisbon, Dan has been collaborating with visual artists at Boa Lab Gallery, creating sound design for exhibitions. His focus is the Alpha Wave Experience, which led to the formation of Art of Wave with Tolga Fidan and the launch of his label AWEED, blending his dance music roots with ambient and eclectic sounds.

Die Teilnehmer liegen unter der Installation, die Augen geschlossen, während die visuellen Blitze lebendige Farben, geometrische Formen und komplexe Muster in ihren Köpfen hervorrufen. Die Wirkung wird mit den introspektiven, visionären Erlebnissen einer Ayahuasca-Zeremonie verglichen, wobei The Oracle selbst als Schamane die Reise leitet.
Bio
Dan Ghenacia tourt seit zwei Jahrzehnten um die Welt, verbreitet gute Vibes und bringt seinen einzigartigen Touch in jedes Set. Als Teil von Apollonia verkörpert er den wahren Geist der elektronischen Musik- und Clubkultur. In den frühen 90ern entdeckte er House und Techno und tauchte in die Pariser Rave-Szene ein. Ein Jahr in San Diego vertiefte seine Liebe zum West Coast House, was ihn dazu inspirierte, in Paris den Plattenladen Traffic Records zu eröffnen. 2002 startete er seine internationale DJ-Karriere und wurde 2004 Resident bei den Circoloco-Partys im DC10 auf Ibiza, wo er eine tiefe Verbindung zur Insel aufbaute.
Heute lebt Dan in Lissabon und arbeitet im Boa Lab Gallery mit visuellen Künstlern zusammen, um Sounddesigns für Ausstellungen zu entwickeln. Sein Fokus liegt auf der Alpha Wave Experience, aus der das Musikprojekt Art of Wave mit Tolga Fidan und sein Label AWEED entstand – eine Fusion aus seinen Dance-Music-Wurzeln und ambienten sowie eklektischen Klängen.
